BIOGRAPHYEvan Erastmus Cooper was born February 14, 1915 on the Foster Farm in Washington, Utah where his parentswere sharecropping. They later had a house at 410 South 100 East in Washington. Evan married Glenna Fern Wilkins on October 11, 1938. She was born November 10, 1921 in Roosevelt, Duchesne County, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George Temple on February 18, 1955. Evan owned and operated the Cooper Rest Haven for 30 years. Glenna died on St. George on November 20, 1979. She was buried in the Washington City Cemetery. After the death of his first wife, Evan married Ena Johnson Spendlove on October 4, 1980. Evan was an active member of the Church of Jesus Crist of Latter-day Saints. Evan died on January 19, 1990 in St. George. His funeral was held on January 23 and he was buried in the Washington City Cemetery. FAMILY
