HISTORY
This regional park opened in 2012.The park includes a riparian area which has been significant to travelers and local inhabitants area for hundreds of years. In pioneer times, the canyons of the park contained a pecan orchard, pastures and small crop fields, a dairy farm, and popular picnic sites.
