Confluence Park is a 344 acre natural park managed by Washington County through the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve office.


LOCATION

Confluence Park is located on the border between Hurricane and LaVerkin at the confluence of Ash Creek, LaVerkin Creek, and the Virgin River.

HISTORY

This regional park opened in 2012.

The park includes a riparian area which has been significant to travelers and local inhabitants area for hundreds of years. In pioneer times, the canyons of the park contained a pecan orchard, pastures and small crop fields, a dairy farm, and popular picnic sites.
