BIOGRAPHY
Johann Heinrich Graf (John Henry Graf Sr.) was born in Rebstein, Sankt Gallen, Switzerlandon November 28, 1856. He used the name, John.
Barbara Staheli was born in Santa Clara on December 25, 1861.
She was the first girl baby born to Swiss immigrants in Santa Clara.
John & Barbara were married on May 15, 1884.
George Albert Graff was born in Spring Valley, Lincoln County, Nevada on August 11, 1884.
John Henry Graf was born in Santa Clara on October 4, 1886. He went by the name of Henry to distinguish
himself from his father.
Barbara Wilhelmina Graf was born in Santa Clara on December 9, 1888. She used the name Mina.
Sophia Amanda Graff was born in Santa Clara on October 22, 1890. She used the name Mandy.
There is some confusion about the children's names, Graf and Graff. They are all the same family.
John died in Santa Clara on January 2, 1891 and was buried on January 3 in Plot C04 of the
Santa Clara City Cemetery.
After John died, Barbara married Edward Stucki on December 13, 1900. Edward died on January 23, 1923.
Barbara died in Santa Clara on November 6, 1943 and was buried in Plot C03 of the
Santa Clara City Cemetery.
Henry died in St. George on December 6, 1963 and was buried on December 9 in Plot S07 of the
Santa Clara City Cemetery.
Mandy died in St. George on November 29, 1966 and was buried in Plot S09 of the
Santa Clara City Cemetery.
George died in Santa Clara on October 4, 1973 and was buried in Plot 131F of the
Santa Clara City Cemetery.
Mina died in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona on March 3, 1979 and was buried in Plot Row 9 West
of the Pine Cemetery in Pine, Gila County, Arizona.
