BIOGRAPHYEmil Eugene Graff was born December 12, 1892 in Elgin, Union County, Oregon. He later used the names Emil James Graff, Emil J. Graff, or mostly just "E.J." Graff.Graduated from High School in 1914 as president of his senior class. Attended school in Logan. He taught school and ran a store in LaVerkin. He was one of the largest turkey and chicken egg producers in the nation. In 1928 he bought the Mercantile store in Hurricane and has operated it since. He was a large cattle rancher on the Arizona Strip and very active in civic affairs.
