BIOGRAPHY
Henry Cornelius (Jr.) was born August 19, 1879 in Silver Reef.Emma Bradshaw was born October 1, 1889 in Woodruff, Navajo County, Arizona.
Excerpt from Emma's history:
30 May 1918 we had another sweet baby come into our family and we named him Edward Harry Cornelius. Jennie Flanigan was working for me & dear Aunt Sarah Spendlove was still my nurse & always ready at every call. It was about this time that we had a little oil boom at Virgin and we was really loaded with work. Our house we turned it into a Hotel as near as we could. Had a lot of work done on it. Full of boarders & Henry was busy hauling the oilrigs & refinery and all machinery in from Lund so that was as close as the R. R came, and it had to be hauled in by Team and Wagon. I had two girls working for me at the time.Henry died September 7, 1951 in Hurricane and was buried September 10, 1951 in the Virgin City Cemetery.
Emma died September 30, 1971 in San Pedro, California, and was buried October 4, 1971 in the Virgin City Cemetery.
