BIOGRAPHYAfter living at 616 South Seventh West in Salt Lake City,Cail Nicholson first came to Dixie with the CCC in 1934. He married Naomi Empey, the daughter of Joseph L. Empey, Jr, in Salt Lake City on October 13, 1934. He was employed as an assistant electrician on the Escalante Oil Well project. Cail, along with his father-in-law, died in the oil well explosion on March 6, 1935. His funeral, along with other victims of the blast, was held in the St. George Tabernacle on the afternoon of March 8, 1935. He was buried in Plot B-6-9-4-SH at the St. George City Cemetery. FAMILY
