He deeded it to Henry W. & Jeanette S. Lawrence in Book O Page 99 on ??/??/????.The Lawrences deeded the property to Samuel Miles Jr. & Esther Louisa Miles in Book Y Page 342 on ??/??/????. This home was built between 1876 and 1883. Because of the different colors of the adobe, the home was probably built in two phases. It appears the house was built by either Henry W. Lawrence or Samuel Miles, Jr. Early pictures of the property when owned by Joseph Johnson, do not show this house. But it appears it could have been built near or on the site of his original store. It is doubtful that the present house is an extension of that store, but it is a possibility. This property was continuously occupied by the immediate family of Samuel Miles Jr. for a period of 116 years. After his death in 1921, the home was occupied by his daughter, Louisa Miles Judd, and her husband, George, until her death in 1978 at age 100. It was deeded to Louisa Miles Judd in Book Y5 Page 592 on 3/24/1921. Then it was deeded to Howard & Rachel Judd in Book S58 Page 548 on 12/10/1965. Next it was deeded to Esther Judd Wasden, great granddaugher to Samuel Miles Jr. in Book 237 Page 834 on 7/17/1978. Owners: Joseph E. Johnson Henry W. & Jeanette S.
