LOCATION188 South 200 WestHurricane, UT 84737 DESCRIPTIONOne and one-half story frame house.HISTORYThis home was built and owned by Alfred & Julia Hall in 1909-1910. The lumber was hauled from the John Stout sawmill in Long Valley, a hazardous journey for Alfred Hall and his sons (Merrill, Lafe, and Alvin) during the winter of 1908-1909.When Alfred & Julia's son, Harvey, married Hannah Crosby, the newlyweds bought a home across the street, but rented it out and lived in the elder Hall's home for a few years while building up their finances. The home retains many of its original features and is still in good structural condition. The home remained in the Hall family for 31 years. Then it was owned by Gerald & Carolyn Shelley.
