LOG CABIN INN

Leeds, Utah

LOCATION

Leeds, UT 84746

HISTORY

When Ethyl McMullin George came back to Leeds to live in the Brigham Young McMullin Home, her brother, Willard McMullin, bought the old Log Cabin Inn along old Highway 91. He and another bachelor brother, Bob, moved there. They sold gas, a few groceries, and had a pool table. It was a hangout for the teenagers of the area. They had one of the two telephones in Leeds.

A. G. Anderson owned the store at one time.

The site of the old Log Cabin Inn is now occupied by Carl Howard's Silver Reef Cafe (Catfish Charlie).
