HISTORY

This building housed the St. George Co-op Mercantile beginning around 1876.

The St. George Co-op Mercantile was later merged with the Zions Cooperative Mercantile Institution, otherwise know as Z.C.M.I.

The building was occupied by Gamble's Western Auto Supply in 1954.

It housed one or more flower shops for many years.

In 1991 or 1992, Phyllis Bracken sold the building to ????.
It housed Mama Eddie's restuarant for about five years until that business was sold off.
Then the building owners opened the Bear Paw Cafe which became very popular and is still in operation there.
