Buildings on the east side of the first north block of Main Street in St. George

Photo of the buildings along the east side of the block from 50 to 100 N. Main Street in St. George, Utah.

From left (north) to right (south):
    Standard Service Station
    [Unidentified building]
Gunsmith-Locksmith; was Adams Barber Shop in the early 1950s
    Dixie Shoe Repair
    Sun Bowl Club
    Squiers Electrical Service
    Elks Lodge (B.P.O.E.)

The date of this photo might be 1972, since that is the one common campaign for Lloyd and Bennett.
The "Keep Sherm Lloyd in Congress" poster would suggest this was probably 1968, 1970, or 1972 since the
"Keep" sounds like he was running for a follow-on term. He was an unsuccessful candidate in 1960,
was elected in 1962, but then was not a candidate in 1964. He was elected again in 1966, 1968,
and 1970, but ran and lost in 1972.

Wallace F. Bennett was a candidate for U.S. Senate in 1960, 1966, 1972, and 1978.
