BIOGRAPHY
William "Will" Brooks was born in St. George, Utah on April 23, 1881.Nellie Marie Stevens was born in Salt Lake City on October 15, 1884. Her parents were Edward Stevens & Sarah J. Dison Stevens.
Brooks was sheriff of Washington County from January 1927 to December 1934. His father, George Brooks Sr., was sheriff before him from September 1888 to December 1900.
Nellie died in St. George on February 19, 1932. She was buried in Plot B_5_7_6_EH of the St. George City Cemetery.
In 1933, widower Will Brooks married widow Juanita Leavitt Pulsipher.
Will died on March 28, 1970 and was buried in Plot B_5_7_5 of the St. George City Cemetery.
Juanita died in St. George on August 26, 1989. She was buried in Plot B_5_7_4 of the St. George City Cemetery.
