BIOGRAPHYJohn Madison Chidester was born in Pompey, Onodague County, New York, in 1809. His middle name was derived from President John Madison.In 1862, Chidester was in the second wave of settlers called to the Cotton Mission. John Chidester died in Washington, Utah on August 30, 1893 at the age of 84. He was buried in Washingon City Cemetery. FAMILY
