BIOGRAPHYBess Snow was born and reared in Pine Valley and spent the happiest years of her life there growing up with her cousins and pals. She was in the last graduating class there. She graduated from Dixie High School and Dixie College and was valedictorian both years. She attended Utah State Agriculture College where she graduated with a B. S. Degree in 1934. She taught school several areas including Nevada, Springdale, Enterprise and St. George.Gwin Beckstrom Winn, a daughter of Elizabeth Beckstrom, inherited Bess' home at 17 W. Main St. in Pine Valley when Bess died. FAMILYBess is a granddaughter of Jane Fryer Jorden Harrison and daughter of Effie May Harrison Snow.Bess is the sister of Elizabeth Snow Beckstrom and Linna Snow Paxman.
