LOCATIONSouthern Utah, Northern Arizona, Southeastern Nevada, Eastern CaliforniaHISTORYThe Southern Utah Mission was formed in 1861 when Brigham Young called 309 families to go establish St. George.The Southern Utah Mission was given eccesiastical responsibility for all communities in the southern half of the Utah Territory including (at that time) Southern Utah, Northern Arizona, Southeastern Nevada, and Eastern California.
