The original home contained three rooms and one fireplace.Later, the ceilings were lowered and a little front porch was added. HISTORYThe Joseph McAllister home was built in approximately 1893. He lived in it with one of his two wives (Molly) and their children.Clifford Wallace bought the house and lived in it for a long time. Lloyd R. Jackson bought the home in 1943 for $5,000.00. He lived in it for 40 years. He lowered the ceilings and added a little front porch, leaving the rest is as it was. Owners: Joseph W. & Molly McAllister Clifford Wallace Lloyd R. Jackson BIOGRAPHYJoseph W. McAllister had two wives: Molly who lived in this house and Agatha who lived on the north west corner of 100 South and ?00 East. The McAllister family were musicans: the father (Joseph Senior), mother (Molly), and all the children.
