The home is currently used for the St. George Family History Center.

BIOGRAPHY

Joseph Elden Olsen (Sr.) was born November 11, 1891 in Ephraim, Utah. In 1919, he married Carrie Browning (born December 12, 1887 in Ogden; died January 20, 1985), daughter of John Moses Browning, the firearms pioneer. They had three children: Joseph Elden Olsen Jr, John Browning Olsen, and Carolyn Olsen. Joseph died January 5, 1984 in St. George.
