HISTORY OF SWISS PAPER CUTTING IN WASHINGTON COUNTY

It was probably Rosina Reber Staheli who came from Switzerland and taught Swiss paper cutting to Josephine
Tobler Graff and others in Santa Clara. We know that Josephine taught it to her daughter, Wanda Graf Frei, and
Wanda taught it to her daughter, Loretta Frei Adams who still practices the art today.
