HISTORY

Warren Hardy had a mill with a lathe and a grinding stone, both powered by a water wheel
(with water probably from the East Spring on the Red Hill).
Hardy was a carpenter by trade and made many kinds of furniture.
He ground wheat into flour and rock salt into fine table salt.
