It was built in1880 and used until ????. After the mining town's demise, the building was moved to its present location in St. George and has been used for publishing ever since. It housed the Washington County News from 1898 to 1986. In 1986, the Mountford family, who published the Washington County News, sold the newpaper to John Rogers but kept the printing business which became Classic Printing Inc. They continued printing the Washington County News for Rogers until that paper ceased operations in 1988. Classic Printing has remained in the building since then.
