ADVENTURE, UTAH

LOCATION

Just west of Rockville and on the south side of the Virgin River.

HISTORY

In 1860, Philip Klingensmith and five other people from Iron County formed a small settlement at a place a couple of miles upriver from Grafton. But it wasn't long before attention focused on settling Rockville on some nearby land with more space for growth. And in 1862, Adventure was destroyed by a flood.
