DixieTech is the premier college for skill and competency based training in Washington County. The UCAT Board of Trustees provides oversight and governs the activities of the eight campuses. UCAT is charged with providing relevant skill and competency based training to prepare students for good jobs. The new Tech Ridge campus consists of a 100,000 square foot professional building, a 62,000 square foot industrial building, and an 11,000 square foot emergency response training center. HISTORYSenate Bill 238 renamed Dixie Applied Technology College (DXATC) to Dixie Technical College (Dixie Tech).In November of 2017, all programs of the former DXATC were consolidated on one central campus located in the new Tech Ridge development.
