Petrified dinosaur tracks at the Dinosaur Tracks Museum

Photo of some well-preserved trace fossil footprints and trackways at the Dinosaur Tracks Museum on the
St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm, 2180 E. Riverside Drive in St. George, Utah.

These fossil footprints and trackways are from creatures who lived in this area 200 Million Years Ago! Trace
fossils are fossils that were made by an organisms body, rather than body fossils which are their body. Basically
they are traces of an organisms behavior or passing, such as tracks, burrows or coprolites. A trackway is a row
of tracks made by the same individual. Trace fossils allow us to understand an organisms living behaviors.
