Photo of the Grandstand at the City Ballpark (Race Track ?) just west of where the Sun Bowl is now.
This photo was taken on July 23, 1945. The occasion was the culmination of a Pioneer Day Parade
depicting the trek across the plains in 1847. People were in costumes with loaded wagons and other things
that would have been along on that trek.
