BIOGRAPHY
Richard Ellsworth "Dick" Hazen, Jr. was born ...Renee Ogden was born in Richfield, Sevier County, Utah on August 3, 1931. She grew up in Richfield,
helping out with the family business, Ideal Dairy, serving ice cream.
Richard & Renee were married in Richfield on June 19, 1953.
They lived at 295 East 700 South in 1961. In the 1960s, the bought and remodeled a house at
1165 East 900 South. They lived there the rest of their lives.
Richard E. Hazen DVM was a veterinarian and practiced in St. George. His office was at 775 S. Main
in 1961 and 1972.
Renee attended the University of Utah and Utah State University. She earned a Masters of Education degree
at Southern Utah University. Renee taught school in Spokane WA and Logan UT. After settling in St. George,
she taught English at Dixie High School and then Pineview High School.
Richard died ...
Renee died in St. George on February 3, 2022 and was buried on February 10 in the Richfield City Cemetery.
