TBDHISTORY
After years of discussions and planning, a St. George Children's Museum board was formally organized in 2010.By-laws, Articles of Incorporation, and application for a non-profit status were written and accepted by the board and submitted to the proper agencies. The museum was incorporated in the State of Utah in March of 2011. Notification of non-profit status was received in September of 2012.
In 2013, the City of St. George agreed to rent the two lower floors of the historic Community Art building for the museum at a minimal annual fee.
The museum opened in November of 2013.
A formal ribbon cutting was held on January 18, 2014.
