The western boundary of that time zone runs along the boundary between Utah and Nevada. The boundary between Utah and Arizona effectively becomes a time zone boundary when Utah goes on Daylight Saving Time and Arizona does not (then Arizona is on the same time as Nevada and California. Currently, Daylight Saving Time begins at 2:00 am (becomes 3:00 am) on he second Sunday in March. Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00 am (becomes 1:00 am) on the first Sunday in November.
