HISTORY

The St. George Tabernacle time capsule was placed in 1867. The time capsule was in a stone box carved by Wilson Lund who was a stone cutter for the St. George Tabernacle.

The capsule was opened in 2016 when the Tabernacle was undergoing seismic renovation. It revealed a fascinating collection of historical artifacts.
