It was three adobes thick. Swen and his wife,Pernilla lived in it most of their lives. Then it passed to their daughter, Pernella, and son-in-law. Then on to their son, Edward, and daughter-in-law. In 1930, one layer of adobe was removed and Edward F. Nisson refinished it with rock. Ed was a farmer and stone mason. He took stones from the Virgin River and turned the little house into somewhat of a show place, carefully veneering the entire building. Edward passed the house down to his son, Quentin, and daughter-in-law. They passed it down to their daughter, Mareli, and son-in-law. The home was extensively changed by Terrill & Mareli Clove).
