This home was built for the Elgin & Vivian Graff family in 1938-1939 by three contracted men, Len carter, Joe Riding and Hans Anderson. The family moved in on March 31, 1939.

The home has been modernized over time, including a gas furnace and a refrigeration unit in 1996.

Elgin & Vivian were still living in it as of 1996.
