All except for the three oldest were born in this house, with the older ones being born in the field. Owners: Andrew Sproul ??? & Sophia Prince Hannig BIOGRAPHYMr. Hannig worked on the cotton cords in the Old Cotton Factory from the age of 11 until 15. He went to work in the Moab Valley and to Cloud, Nevada. Mr. Hannig was 95 years old in December of 1980 and Sophia Prince Hannig was 89 years old (she was born in 1891).
