HISTORY

This business was privately owned and was licensed as an Intermediate Care Facility (nursing home) by the
Department of Health. It occupied the old McGregor Hospital building. It was a 34-bed facility and specialized in
care for people with dementia and seniors with with behavioral issues. It was unusual to have a nursing facility
on two floors with no elevator, so the residents who lived on the second floor had to be able to climb those stairs.

In March of 1986, Laurel Stinson moved to St. George to take over the administration of the facility. She held that
position the entire time the Southern Hospitality Living Center occupied the old McGregor Hospital Building.

After they vacated they vacated the building in 1993, they moved their license to Red Cliffs Regional Care Center
behind the Red Cliffs Mall.
