DESCRIPTION

A 9-hole, par 34 golf course with a clubhouse.

HISTORY

On July 4, 1965, the Dixie Red Hills Golf Course was the first golf course to open up in the county. It started
with 7 holes, but two more were added a few months later.

A clubhouse was added in 1967.

A new clubhouse was built in late 2018 and early 2019, after which the old clubhouse was demolished. The new
clubhouse was much larger, with new restaurant facilities, a lounge area, and extra restroom space. It cost
$960,000 to build.
