HISTORY

In 1972, Ray H. Gleave was called as the new bishop of the Leeds Ward and was charged with building a new chapel.

Groundbreaking for the new Leeds Ward Chapel was held on August 31, 1974. This chapel was built during 1975 and 1976 adjacent to the old church. The grounds and landscaping were completed in October 1975. The first services were held on November 2, 1975.

This chapel was dedicated on March 21, 1976.
