BIOGRAPHY

Wesley Pratt Larsen was born on July 29, 1916 in Kimberly Idaho. His parents were Charles E. Larsen and Belinda Pratt.

Larsen earned a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Utah in 1960. He completed some graduate studies at Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley.

Larsen was the associate program director for the National Science Foundation. His research projects also were conducted for the Atomic Energy Commission for radiation biology and for Columbia University, where Larsen worked as a field observer for a rural education project.

Larsen passed away on April 29, 2004 and was buried in the Toquerville Cemetery on May 4, 2004.
