HISTORY
The Sunset Motel opened sometime between 1941 and 1958. It lasted until sometime between 1961 and 1972.This motel then operated as the Western Safari Motel and later as the Cliff Inn Motel.
On the evening of August 1, 2012, a fire started in the laundry room and burned several units. The motel remained closed and was completely torn down early in December 2012.
