A blizzard during the winter of 1936 and 1937 was one of the worst Washington County has seen.

HISTORY

The blizzard lasted from December 27, 1936 to around January 28, 1937 with the effects lasting longer than that [these dates have not been verified]. All of Utah suffered from the severe winter, but southern Utah was particularly hard hit.
