HISTORY

This home was built about 1870 by Daniel D. McArthur. All of Daniel's families lived in the house. The children
showed the same respect to the other mothers as they did to their own mothers.

The home demolished in the mid 1950s to make way for the new West Elementary School, which in turn was
demolished in 2008 to accomodate the new district court building.

Owners:
Daniel D. McArthur
