This history of Washington County was prepared by local Daughters of Utah Pioneers in 1950; a supplement was added in 1978. It covers the early beginnings of the County first settled in the 1850's. It is an excellent resource for those new (and old) to this "Dixie" Country to help understand its heritage.

The price is $35.00, including a CD which lists all the names and pages in the book. For those who bought the book before the CD was available, the CD is available alone at the museum for $5.00.

Several copies of the book are also available in the Washington County Library (Call Number 979.2 D.U.P.).
