HISTORY

The pioneer graves are typically located in the far South East side of cemetery. Many of these graves are not marked. There was a flood in area around 1900 and it removed/damaged many markers.

The Italian Cypress Trees in this cemetery were planted by the Washington Stake Primary Children in conjunction with Washington City of Arbor Day, April 26, 1996, as a Utah Centennial Project. This event was organized by Peder Clove and Josh Woodbury as their Eagle Scout Project to beautify the city and as a Memorial to the city's dead.
