HISTORY
Gene Wadsworth built the Wadsworth Building in 1927 and opened the Wadsworth Theatre in the spring of 1929.It operated until the late 1940s.
At that time, the theatre name was changed to the Dixie Theatre in the Wadsworth Building.
It operated with one screen and 627 seats until sometime after 1999.
The theatre was eventually gutted and used for storage.
