HISTORY

The Senior Sampler started as a monthly publication in November of 1989 by Michael and Donna Stanley. They originally worked out of their home with the actual printing done by Classic Printing.

In May 1994, the Stanleys sold the paper to Van & Maureen Wilson.

It is currently published every week on Friday and distributed free at racks in St. George, Washington, Hurricane, LaVerkin, Leeds, Springdale, Cedar City, and Mesquite. The latest issue can be downloaded in PDF format from their website. Articles dating back to April 2009 are also available in their online archives.

Circulation:
11,000 in the winter of 1993; less in the summer when the snowbirds are away
8,000+ in December 2012
