HISTORY

The fruit stand business started because farmers had extra fruits & vegetables that could be sold from tables,
booths, and stands by the roads running in front of their properties.

A lot of them sprung up along old Highway 91 in Santa Clara where a lot of fruit was grown. At one time there
were 20 fruit stands there. After the freeway through the Virgin River Gorge was built, all but Frei's Fruit Market
went out of business.
