WASHINGTON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Washington County Historical Society (WCHS) has started a book club
for people who are interested in getting together and talking about books
of historical interest.
The first meeting was held on April 25, 2012 and ideas for the club are just evolving. Dr. Doug Alder has generated an initial suggested list of books to be considered, but additional ideas are solicited.
MEETING TIME AND PLACEThe next book club meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, 2012.
It will be held downstairs in Community Room A at the St. George Library, 88 West 100 South in St. George.
The formal meeting will last for about an hour starting at noon with an extra half hour after for miscellaneous visiting.
Feel free to bring a sack lunch.
This activity is open to the public; you do not need to be a member of the Washington County Historical Society to participate.
For additional activities of historical interest, see the WCHS online calendar.
