HISTORY
In the early 1970s, Orvil Wright of Hurricane donated about 6-7 acres of property on Kolob Mountain to be used for a community center, church, and cemetery.The community center was built in 1973-1974 and the adjacent cemetery was started in 2006.
The cemetery (and community center) are run by the Kolob Mountain Community Center Association, a non-profit corporation.
The cemetery has 640 plots which sell for $500.00 each.
At last report, 60 plots had been sold and there were 2 interments.
