The Stormont Mill was established on the Virgin River in the early 1870s. The Mormons referred to the Stormont Mill as the Babylon Mill. The mine and mill were closed in 1887.


LOCATION

From Old Highway 91 just north of Leeds, go south on the Babylon Road about seven miles to the Virgin River.
