The Washington County Historical Society (WCHS) maintains this website as a service to the community. It is available to anyone with internet access. It provides a place to record information about the County's people, places, organizations, and activities and includes links to other such information elsewhere on the web.

The site is constantly evolving and should get better over time. If you have information that should be included or corrections to the information already here, please contact us. Copies of old photographs and historical data are particularly solicited as well as references to relevant information elsewhere on the internet. Please report any problems. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
